Lady Enid recreates that classic age of yachting enjoyed in the 1960's when sailing was more about elegance and chic than corporate sponsorship and carbon fiber. Lady Enid is well known within the established Australian yachting fraternity and has a long tradition of racing including five Sydney to Hobart races and 15 Brisbane to Gladstone races, sealing her place in Australian racing history when she came first over the line in the first ever Sydney to Brisbane (now Mooloolaba) race in 1964.
Sailing into the sunset with the Whitsunday islands as your backdrop on Lady Enid's adults-only experience. Once out of the marina, the crew will host the sails. You can freely move around the vessel and enjoy the cushioned seating. With a maximum of 24 guests on board, well below our capacity of 36, you will be sure to find a quiet spot to yourselves to relax and soak up the ambience. Lady Enid crew will point out various points of interest and discuss the history, flora and fauna of Airline Beach and the Whitsundays for those interested. Feel the wind in your hair, as you enjoy the cooling breeze of a sunset sail around Airline Beach.
Marvel at the beautiful sunset the hills to the west of Airline Beach and its surrounds. Then once the sun has set, watch as Airline Beach lights up after dark.~~~~ |
