The Tweed region is famous for its mud crab and professional crabbers that work and trap in the picturesque surroundings of the Terranora Lakes. The Tour has several hands-on experience for guests to try, from pumping for Yabbies (small native crustacean), pulling up crab pots to catch mud crabs, bird feeding and fishing. Guests are given a live mud crab demonstration to learn about the mud crabs and guests may sample a small tasting of the region's best crabs. Cruise through oyster farms and learn about how oysters are farmed. The tour is an ideal way to experience the natural environment and sample the regions famous seafood fresh from the pot to the plate.~~~~
