Brisbanites loves the outdoors, and that includes at night. The city’s buildings, bridges and even the river parks light up beautifully when the sun goes down. With comfortable evening temperatures almost all year; even in winter. Of course, we have the superb lookouts of Kangaroo Cliffs and Mt Coot-tha - but evening is the perfect time to see the lights as you descend the cliffs at Howard-Smith Wharves and stroll along the river at Southbank. Includes a great 2-course dinner with drink and lovely views. As we drive, walk and eat, learn about the city’s history from convict goal to the newest Olympic city and lifestyle capital of the world approaching 2.5 million.~~~~

Suggested Activities: Kangaroo Cliffs – from the top of the illuminated cliffs overlook Brisbane’s river and downtown. Howard-Smith Wharves – descend the quarried cliffs to cafes and river walk right under Story Bridge. Drive through Fortitude Valley – one of Brissy’s artsy, foodie, cultural and nightlife precincts. Mt Coot-tha Lookout – with stunning views over Brisbane and surrounds. 2-course dinner – location varies depending on availability, but is always in a great location, typically with lovely views. Visit Southbank’s famous ‘city beach’, see the ‘Wheel of Brisbane’ and the Brisbane River Walk, with all the trees lit up and views across to the downtown.~~~~ |
