What to Bring:

Itinerary:

Valid for 01APR24-31MAR25:

Foodies can indulge in this comprehensive culinary experience, specifically designed for the discerning coffee, food and wine connoisseur. Your experience begins when your tour guide picks you up from your accommodation, briefs you on the day’s activities, gives you a water bottle and tour booklet and welcomes you aboard our air-conditioned vehicle. Commencing with a freshly brewed coffee or hot beverage of your choice, you'll take a guided tour of a world class roastery, you'll see where the magic happens, learn about the journey of the humble coffee bean from plantation to processing.

Next, we invite you to indulge in a true sensory experience you're taken through how to make coffee in a variety of ways.

Learn how to identify the unique aroma, acidity, body and flavour in each of their unique brews.

You are then welcomed to enjoy a freshly roasted coffee or purchase discounted ingredients and products in their store before we say farewell and head to our next destination. Founded in 2004 to combat the huge volume of food waste in Australia, Ozharvest quickly grew to become Australis's leading food rescue organisation.

Food is at their core, saving surplus food from ending up in landfill and delivering it to charaties that help feed people in need.

They are committed to halving food waste by 2030, inspiring and influencing others to do the same, and transforming lives through education. Ozharvest Sunshine Coast started in 2014 and operates as far north as Gympie, down the coast and into the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

They deliver around 6,800 meals a week to charaties, schools, community centres, youth programs and churches.

Join Ozharvest chefs to learn zero-waste cooking skills, while transforming rescued ingredients into gourmet meals to support vulnerable communities. From learning how to a onion properly, to cooking root to stem, you'll be inspired by this hands-on cooking session full of practical tips and tricks for you to apply at home. After creating delicious and nutritious meals, you'll help pack the food ready for Ozharvest to deliver to the local charaties. The good news is there's no washing up and you get to taste your culinary delights in a sit down 3 course meal. Not only is this class educational, fun, and downright delicious, it's full of purpose as your impact can be felt immediately through the number of meals you've created to be distributed throughout the local community. Created by four best mates with a passion for the warmth of the Sunshine Coast and beautifully made craft spirits, nestled in the lush Hinterland behind the Big Pineapple, Sunshine and Sons distillery is a must see.
