Join Kane, the visionary founder of Yarnbala, as he leads you on an exhilarating journey, skillfully weaving together information, uniqueness and immersive experiences to awaken your senses. You will have private transfers from Port Lincoln to Yarnbala and return in the comfortable airconditioned courstey vehicle. Along the way to Yarnbala you will be informed of the history and stories from Kane's rich past adventures and stories that are entwinded in the 'wild' Eyre Peninsula. You will witness the secret and natural phenomenon only known by few of the epic ground water systems that bubbles out of the earth around Coffin and Kellidie Bay, the locatioin of where the Coffin Bay oysters are grown in nutrient rich oceanic waters. Upon entering Yarnbala via private access through the Coffin Bay National Park you will notice the unique vegetation of the Grassy Sheaok Woodland, now a critcally endangered ecosystem with only 4% remaining in South Australia. You will the arrive at the rustic iron gates of Yarnbala's central meeting place architecturally deisgned by recycled materials all built around the orginal Slater families campfire. Marvel at how timbers, stone and iron come together to form the most inspiring structure, it is truely like no other in the world. You will take a gentle wander through the grassy sheoak wooodland where your expert guide will introduce you to an array of endemic plants as you will taste some of the regions unique bush food. You will be shown how the aboriginal people lived off the land and how the Slater Family still utilise this bush food today. Learn the ancient art of water divining and see if you have the gift of finding the pure filtered water deep under ground at Yarnbala. Then sit around the fire where you will enjoy and extended live performance of the ddjeridoo and lapsteel guitar perfectly combined whilst you enjoy our very own famous Coffin Bay gin made and garnished from our very own botanicals or sample some of South Austraila's finest wines or craft beers it has to offer. Kane will then show you how the family venture operates its entire business 100% offgrid that is a climate and carbon positive operation. You will then be taken to the Slater Families organic orchard and garden with over 50 fruit trees. Learn how this supplies food for the Slaters all year round and how composting has made one of the best producing orchards on Eyre Peninsula in the one of the pourest soils in Australia. Learn and taste the crystal clear ground water brought to the surface by the sun which supplies Yarnbala and the orchard.
