Tully Rafting ex Mission Beach

The Tully River is Australia's best white water rafting river with non-stop action from the put in to the takeout! The tour starts with a midday pick up from a central location in Mission Beach, enjoy the scenery on the 30-minute drive to Tully. On arrival to Tully, have a chance to grab a light lunch (optional, own expense) before travelling 40 minutes to the top of the Tully Gorge. Meet the River Guide and fellow paddlers and get fitted with a helmet and life jacket before we make our way down to the water. Receive a comprehensive safety briefing and paddling instructions, and warm up on a couple of small rapids prior to hitting the white water! Raft through awesome grade 3 and 4 rapids that are sure to get your adrenalin pumping and heart racing as you 'paddle forward', 'get down' and 'hang on!' There are some calm water sections on the river where everyone can catch their breath and take in the spectacular scenery, before hitting the next section of pumping white water! Arriving at the takeout point, change into dry clothes before we head to the Feluga Hotel for a well-earned country pub dinner. Grab a coldie while comparing river stories with fellow paddlers surrounded by a living history of Raging Thunder. After dinner, board the bus and relax while returning to the accommodation, arriving approximately 7.30pm.
