‘Explore, Wine and Dine’ experience is like no other. Be taken on a guided tour of discovery where you will learn about Shottesbrooke winery’s rich history and how sustainable wine making practices are taking at Shottesbrooke Winery from today into tomorrow.

This exciting tour takes you behind-the-scenes of Estate property in McLaren Flat, where you'll be shown 30+ year old vineyards, the purposeful and lively wood lots, the winery and all it's intricacies, as well as journeying through the beautiful barrel shed. Shottesbrooke Winery winemakers and cellar team work all-year round to create award-winning wines, so don't be shy to say hello as you will pass them in the winery!

After exploring the vineyards and winery, you will be hosted to a private, personalised tasting, featuring many of the wines that were discussed throughout the tour. The tasting is comprised of white wines, rose and red wines - as well as a fortified for good measure. Throughout this tasting you'll have the opportunity to find out the more intricate details about winemaking process and philosophy, and are invited to ask your host any questions you may have about your wine journey so far.

Once complete, you will take a short, guided walk through the native woodlot to the award-winning restaurant The Currant Shed. Here, you will indulge in a regionally inspired 3-course lunch, complete with Shottesbrooke wines and an incredible view of Shottesbrooke vineyards. Between courses, feel free to treat yourself to a self-guided tour of the Currant Shed’s own vegetable garden and delightful Tahitian lime grove, or simply relax and take in the charming ambiance that only McLaren Vale can offer.
