Explore the beautiful Whitsunday Hinterland, with rockpools, waterfalls, secluded beaches and a fabulous beachfront resort for lunch. You will be picked up from your accommodation, then the exploration begins. Explore the Whitsunday Coast hinterland with a visit to Cedar Creek Falls and rockpool. Swim in the fresh waterhole, explore the creek up- and downstream from the falls. The hike to the top of the falls is not for the faint-hearted but is worth the climb for the adventurous. After rain the waterfall will be flowing (seasonal). You can also listen to the sounds of the Australian bush, with birds and butterflies making a flash appearance. Additionally, look for freshwater turtles as they are known to be in the area. On to Whitsunday Gold Coffee Farm for a quick rest stop where you may want to buy a coffee and morning tea snack. Check out the colourful native Australian birds and resident animals: Crispy and Crackle the pigs, the chickens and doves, goats, alpacas, and guinea pigs. Then start by heading north towards the Hydeaway Bay area, passing through cane farms and cattle properties. Destination Cape Gloucester, where you can spend some time walking along the beach, dipping our toes in the water, and visiting favorite nearby secret spots, known as Frog Rock. Later, you will have lunch at Cape Gloucester Resort, where you can enjoy a refreshing beverage and a delicious meal from the menu (at your own expense). The deck overlooking the beachfront getaway will serve as a dining spot.Applies:end
