At 09.30am Depart for the drive into McLaren Vale, arriving at about 10:15am: Start with a 4WD tour around ancient Onkaparinga Gorge to marvel at geology that dates back 600 million years and spectacular views over the coast and vineyards.11:00am: Yangarra Estate. This is one of the region’s most hallowed wineries and you'll savour a tasting of their very best wines followed by an intimate tour of their barrel hall and winery. This winery was just acknowledged as one of the World's Top 100 Wine Estates and also won Australia's Wine of the Year. 12.15pm Salopian Inn. This is one of Australia’s Top 100 restaurants. Savour a beautiful 3 course lunch in this stunning old homestead with its expansive vineyard views 02:00pm Bekkers Wine. After lunch we’ll head to one of the best in the Vale for a masterclass overlooking the estate at Bekkers Fine Wine 03:00pm d’Arenberg Wines. Take a walk around the d‘Arenberg Cube, the avante-garde, Rubik’s Cube inspired cellar door, followed by a tasting on their top floor cellar door, at 04:00pm. Drive to the beach to see spectacular Fleurieu Peninsula coastline. 05:00pm drop off.
