Hire Period:

- Hire periods are from 8.00am on day of
pick up and return by 6.00pm on day of
drop off.

- Minimum 3 day hire applies.

Pick up: 

- Pick up and drop off is from our
office at 31 Joan Street, Bungalow.

- Hotel pick up and drop off can be
arranged for an extra charge, Cairns CBD
AU$35 one way, Cairns Airport AU$115 one
way (airport after hours fees may
apply), Palm Cove AU$175 one way
(minimum spend applies), Port Douglas
AU$369 one way (minimum spend applies).


Drivers Ages:

- Full licence and aged 30 years-75
years to drive Porsche Macan, Porsche
Boxster, Mercedes E-class Convertible
and Mercedes AGM SUV.

- Full licence and aged 28 years-75
years to drive Mustang Convertibles,
Mustang Bullitt, Ford Raptor 4WD and
Tesla.

Kilometres Included:

- Porsche Boxster - 150km daily, AU$1.50
per km thereafter.

- Mercedes E-Class - 150km daily,
AU$1.50 per km thereafter.

- Tesla - 200km daily, AU$0.35 per km
thereafter.

- All other vehicles - 250km daily,
AU$0.88 per km thereafter.

Tesla Charging:

- Tesla to be returned with 80% battery,
AU$0.75 charged per kilowatt hour.

- Closest charging stations are located
at car park near Shangri-La or Cairns
Central.

Areas of Use:

- All vehicles are allowed North to
Daintree Village, South to Townsville,
West to Herberton, SUV's to Cape
Tribulation.

- Ford Raptor is allowed North to
Cooktown, South to Townsville, West to
Mount Surprise. Excluded areas North of
Cooktown.

Bond:

- Bond of AU$1000 is required. Bond is
held on credit card or AU$2000 on debit
card.

- Credit card/ Visa/ Master Debit Card
required for bond.

Insurance:

- Insurance is directly with Cairns
Luxury Car Hire and included in rates
for up to two drivers. This will reduce
from AU$10000 to AU$1950.

- Please note that Cairns Luxury Car
Hire reserves the right to accept or
reject bookings based on the country of
residence of potential hirers. This is
based around insurance cover and the
stipulation from our insurance providers
that all hirers meet certain criteria in
terms of driving skill, awareness and
language.

- A physical credit or debit card is
required for a deposit on collection of
the vehicle to cover
miscellaneous/optional charges,
applicable vehicle coverage options
excess and fuel bond.

- Vehicle types are given for
descriptive purposes only and may vary
by location. Specific vehicle
makes/models cannot be guaranteed.


Cancellation Policy

Valid for 01APR24-31MAR25:

- 50% of rental fees and any applicable
fees will be charged if cancelled 27-7
days prior to pick up.

- No refund if cancelled within 6 days
of pick up or if client is a no-show. If
vehicle is returned early for any
reason, Cairns Luxury Car Hire at its
discretion, may credit the unused
portion if they can re-hire the vehicle.
