RENTAL PERIOD:
- Rates are calculated on 24 hour
periods (1 day).

- For additional hours, an extra day
will be charged and is payable direct to
Avis by the renter.

RATES:

- Rates are stated in Australian Dollars
and are available at Avis Australia Tour
Program Participating Locations.

- The rate and conditions applied to the
total rental are determined by the date
of rental commencement and the renting
location.

- Inclusive Rate Program is NOT VALID
for pick up or drop off at the following
locations: Ceduna, Ceduna Airport,
Coober Pedy, Geraldton Airport, Olympic
Dam Airport, Port Augusta, Port Augusta
Airport, Karratha Airport, Newman, Port
Hedland Airport, Port Hedland.

Vehicle Registration Fee (VRF): Included
in rate. Applicable to all rentals.
Administration Fee: Included in rate.
Applicable to all rentals. Fee also
applies to any additional items not
included in the rate which are payable
directly to Avis at time of rental.
Goods & Services Tax (GST): Included in
rate. Also applies to additional items
not included in rate which are payable
directly to Avis at the time of rental.

KILOMETRE ALLOWANCE:
Metropolitan and Country Locations:
Rates include unlimited kilometres.

Remote Locations (excluding Northern
Territory): Rates include 100kms per
day, excess kilometre charges at 27.5c
per kilometre.

Northern Territory: Rates include
unlimited kilometres.

DRIVERS LICENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Avis Australia will rent to drivers
that present a current drivers licence
and have held that licence for 12
months.

- Avis Australia will not rent to any
person on a Provisional or Probationary
drivers licence.

- If a foreign licence is in a language
other than English, it must be
accompanied by an International Drivers
Permit (containing an English
translation).

COVERAGE OPTIONS:
Loss Damage Waiver:

- Loss Damage Waiver is the coverage
(included in the rates) provided on the
rental vehicle and Third Party Property
which is subject to the excess. Loss
Damage Waiver is subject to terms and
conditions detailed on the rental
agreement.

Standard Accident Excess:

- When an Avis vehicle is involved in an
accident, zero excess is applicable
providing the vehicle is used in
accordance with the terms and conditions
of the rental agreement and the laws of
the state. Failure to adhere to the
terms and conditions and laws of the
state will result in the renter being
responsible for all damage and costs
associated with the vehicle.

Note: The renter must always pay to Avis
the following costs and fees:
The cost of repairing any:Overhead
Damage or Underbody Damage (including,
without limitation, damage which occurs
if you come into contact with including,
but not limited to, a bridge, a tunnel,
a tree, or the roof or boom gate of a
car park; or damage, including but not
limited to, the exhaust systems,
suspension and chassis caused by
carelessly driving over gutters or kerbs
or driving along poor quality roads at
excessive speeds) which damage is not
attributable to Fair Wear and Tear.You
driving the Vehicle in a manner that
results in total or partial inundation
or immersion of the Vehicle in water or
exposure of the Vehicle to salt water
(including, without limitation, damage
which occurs as a result of You driving
the Vehicle through floods, creeks or
rivers); damage to the Vehicle caused by
a breach of clause 3, 4.1, 5.1, 5.8 or
7.1 of the Avis Australia Rental Terms
and Conditions (save, in respect of
clause 4.1(m), for minor infractions);
damage to a tyre or an Accessory not
attributable to Fair Wear and Tear that
is caused deliberately or recklessly by
You; theft of the Vehicle, unless You
report the Vehicle as stolen to the
police immediately on becoming aware of
the theft and provide a copy of the
police report to Avis as soon as you
receive it; or loss or damage to Your
property, the property of a member of
Your immediate family or of a person
related to You if that loss or damage is
from a breach of these terms and
conditions. Water damage to the Vehicle
Damage to the Vehicle or to the property
of any third party caused by a breach of
the Rental Agreement.Damage to a tyre or
an Accessory not attributable to normal
wear and tear The cost of any
professional cleaning or odour
extraction incurred by Avis because the
driver or another person has been
smoking in the Vehicle during the Rental
Period and/or a reasonable
administrative fee reflecting the cost
of making arrangements for professional
cleaning or smoke extraction.For the
purposes of paragraphs (a) to (j) above,
any reference to You includes an
Authorised Driver and any person You or
the Authorised Driver allow to drive the
Vehicle

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

- ICAR, SCAR and CFAR vehicles - Minimum
21 years of age.

- FCAR, FVAR, IFAR, FFAR, PFAR - Minimum
25 years of age.

- No maximum age applies.

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS:

Avis will provide one additional driver
at no cost. Fees will apply to each
individual additional driver ( i.e. a
third or fourth driver etc)

- AUD5.50 per additional driver.

- Max charge of AUD38.50 inc GST per
additional driver (5 day max charge).

- It is essential that proof of a valid
driver&#8217;s licence is provided and
that the additional driver signs the
rental agreement.

ONE WAY RENTAL POLICY:
- All one way rentals are &#8216;on
request&#8217; and subject to
availability. &#8216;On request&#8217;
means supply of the requested vehicle is
subject to confirmation by Avis.

- All one way rental requests need to be
submitted to Avis a minimum of 14 days
before the scheduled pick up date.

- One way rental fees are payable in
addition to the rental charges and are
inclusive of GST.

- One way rental fees are payable
directly to Avis at the time of rental.

New South Wales (NSW), Australian
Capital Territory (ACT), Victoria (VIC),
Queensland (QLD), South Australia (SA):

One way rental fees (including GST) are
determined as per the below, when
renting between these States and
Territories: Fees apply to rentals less
than 72 hours (3 days x 24 hours) unless
noted as an exception.

One Way Rentals into/out of Northern

- A minimum rental duration of 7 days (7
x 24 hours) applies and a non-waivable
one way fee of AUD1,100.00 including GST
is applicable unless noted as an
exception.

- One way rentals are only permissible
on the following vehicles - IFAR, FFAR
and PFAR, provided 'On Request' and
subject to availability.
- Rentals commencing from specified
airport and downtown locations in QLD,
NSW, ACT, VIC and SA may be driven one
way into the Northern Territory and
Western Australia or vice versa - see
below list of depots.

- One way rentals are also permissible
from Perth, Karratha, Port Hedland and
Kununurra to and from Darwin, Alice
Springs and Ayers Rock, provided 'on
request' and subject to availability.

One Way Rentals Within Northern
Territory

- A minimum continuous rental duration
of 4 days (4 days x 24 hours/ 96 hours)
is applicable for one-way rentals
commencing and returning within the
Northern Territory, and a one-way rental
fee of $550.00 (including GST) will
always apply. One-way rentals are
provided 'On Request' and subject to
availability.

One Way Rentals Within Western
Australia

- A minimum continuous rental duration
of 5 days (5 days x 24 hours) is
applicable for one way rentals within
Western Australia and a one way fee will
apply (refer to details below) unless
noted and approved by Avis as an
exception. One way rentals are provided
&#8216;On Request&#8217; and subject to
availability.

Port Lincoln - One way rentals
commencing from Port Lincoln are not
allowed, the only exception being
rentals between Port Lincoln and
Adelaide. One way rentals from Port
Lincoln to Adelaide require a minimum 5
day length of rental, and a one way fee
of AUD440.00 including GST will apply.
Limited kilometres of 100kms per day
apply to all rentals starting in Port
Lincoln.

Tasmania

- One way rentals within Tasmania do not
incur a one way fee.

- One way rentals into or out of
Tasmania are not permitted.

- One way rentals are provided &#8216;On
Request&#8217; and subject to
availability.

Perth/Exmouth One Way Special: 01 April
&#8211; 30 November

- Vehicles rented for 7 days (7 x 24
hours / 168 hours) or more from Perth to
Exmouth/Learmonth within the period 01
April &#8211; 30 November will incur a
one way fee of $440 including GST. 

- Vehicles rented for 7 days (7 x 24
hours / 168 hours) or more from
Exmouth/Learmonth to Perth within the
period 01 April &#8211; 30 November will
incur a one way fee of $440 including
GST. 


Eligible vehicle groups for the
Perth/Exmouth one-way special are: CFAR,
IFAR and PFAR.

All eligible vehicles are provided 'On
Request' and subject to availability.

Refer to table above for vehicles rented
between Perth and Exmouth/Learmonth and
vice versa outside of this period /
rental duration.

All Learmonth Airport (LEA) rentals will
incur a AUD77.00 surcharge for
collection and drop off of vehicles.
This charge is subject to change without

RESTRICTED DRIVING ROADS / AREAS:

The below detailed driving restrictions
apply to rentals on Avis Tour Rates.
Should the Avis vehicle be driven over
the restricted roads / areas detailed
below, or on the Rental Agreement,
Coverage options are void. Vehicle hire
is subject to satisfactory road and
weather conditions at all times.

General:

- The Avis vehicle must only be used on
roads that are properly formed and
constructed as sealed, metalled or
gravel roads (unless the road is for
access to recognised accommodation
grounds).

- All Avis vehicles, including vehicle
groups IFAR & PFAR, cannot be driven on
beaches or through streams, dams, rivers
or floodwaters.
- Avis vehicles rented from Mainland
Australia may not leave the Mainland and
be taken to Tasmania or any other island
unless authorised in writing by Avis.
- A number of roads in Northern
Territory and Western Australia are
access roads to Aboriginal communities
where it is not permissible to drive
without an approved permit.

Queensland:

- Vehicles may not be driven beyond
Chillagoe in a westerly direction
(highway 27).

- Vehicles may not be driven beyond
Normanton in a southerly direction and
no further north than Karumba (highway
1).

- All vehicles may be driven on the main
road to Cooktown. If driven off main
road or north of Cooktown or Lakeland to
the west, coverage options may be void.

- Vehicles may not be driven on the
coastal road north of Cape Tribulation.

Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales and
ACT:

- Vehicles may not be driven above the
snow line in Tasmania, New South Wales
and Victoria - being Jindabyne in New
South Wales and Bright in Victoria, from
the beginning of June until the end of
September.

- Vehicles rented in Tasmania may not be
taken to the Mainland and vice versa.


BRUNY ISLAND:

Vehicles are permitted to be taken to
Bruny Island, when rented from any
participating location in Tasmania.
Clients travelling to Bruny Island or
considering travelling to Bruny Island
should mention this to our staff member
at the rental counter. Avis does allow
travel to Bruny Island (including travel
on the Bruny Island Ferry), but does
require the renter to acknowledge the
change to our terms and conditions
regarding this at time of rental. Please
note that due to the isolated nature of
Bruny Island and its access limitations,
breakdowns and accidents can be
difficult to attend to and can take up
to 24 hours for an agent to attend a
call out on Bruny Island. Under no
circumstances will Avis cover any
additional expenses the renter may incur
due to such a delay including but not
limited to costs associated with hotel
and a

I agree with the Terms & Conditions for this rental.

Cancellation Policy

Valid for 01APR24-31MAR26:

- No cancellation fee will be charged if
the rental is cancelled prior to
commencement.

- No refund will apply on unused rental
days once the rental has commenced.
